In the news...

The Information Technology Business (ITB) MCK announced Monday that it has
signed an outsourcing and software partnership with Mount Sinai Medical
Center in Miami Beach. Under the terms of the $41 million contracts, which
span a seven-year period, ITB will assume responsibility for Mount Sinai's
information systems department. 

Web application developer Halfbrain.com announced yesterday a strategic
partnerships with MCK (and others) to help add intelligence to the Web.  MCK
plans to use halfbrain.com's browser-based spreadsheet technology to create
Web page applications that allow managers and analysts to view and
manipulate business performance data on its intranet.  MCK will be using
BrainMatter, customized by TriProfessionals Inc., to deliver a customized,
easily configurable, web front-end for corporation data analysis.

Weill Cornell Medical Center at NY Presbyterian Hospital selected
Abaton.com's (MCK biz uint) web-based solution to streamline clinical lab
testing and results reporting.  The web-based solution allows unsurpassed
service to the community-based physicians by providing them with access to
laboratory and pathology results 24 hours a day at their own computers,
whether they are in the office or at home.
